On November 24th (Sunday), Sofia will host the 5th edition of Sofia Drum Fest – a one-of-a-kind drumming event in Bulgaria.
Each year, it brings together drum enthusiasts eager to share experiences and enjoy performances
by some of the best drummers from Bulgaria and abroad.
The festival is organized by Boyan Georgiev – Bonzy, drummer of the band Odd Crew and owner
of Bonzy Drum School in Sofia.
This year’s lineup includes Tsvetan Georgiev, the founder of Bulgaria’s largest music school (Center for Musical Arts) and one of the most sought-after drum teachers.
The festival will again feature international artists, such as Horacio “El Negro” Hernández (Cuban drummer and Latin drum maestro),
Marios Ioannou (Greek session drummer and educator at Lab Camp), and young Italian drummer Alex Ranaldo (a winner of multiple drumming competitions).
Tickets are available through the EpayGo network and EasyPay kiosks:
- Quintuplet Ticket – 55 BGN (available until November 23rd)
- Sextuplet Ticket – 65 BGN (at the door on the day of the event).
Children under 10 can attend for free but must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are limited to 350.
This year’s festival will be hosted by Sofia’s iconic club Stroeja at 116 Georgi S. Rakovski Street (near Slaveykov Square, just a few minutes’ walk from our apartments).
The event starts at 4:00 PM (doors open at 3:00 PM) and continues until 10:00 PM.
